Someone got lirc_serial module with 2.6.15 kernel working? I tried lirc-0.7.2 some symbol error at module loading. This seems to be fixed in lirc-0.8. But with 0.8 I have got a seg fault at module loading. Even lirc-cvs is not working for me. For now I'm back at kernel 2.6.13... Kristian. _

FWIW, my input is that far and away, the #1 enhancement request for MythWeb w.r.t. music would be a playlist builder. To me, the biggest benefits from MythWeb derive from its features that make it easier to access media on the TV, as opposed to any features that access content via the browser.

I had a similar problem using a Diamond Monster Sound mx300 and finally just gave up. I yanked the card and put in a SB Live! 24, but now it's not working at all (in record). Sorry I don't have any advice to give you, just know that there are others who have experienced this problem as well.

Richard, I had a similar but not identical issue. When I did cat /dev/ video1, I got garbage, instead of a 0 length file. I resolved my problem by changing the drivers around. Apparently the tuner.ko and tveeprom.ko that came with Fedora was interfering with the ivtv drivers.
