Hello all, I know it is said the 6lo4v is the same as 6lo1i but I do not believe this is true. For one thing, the heater requires a different trimming resistor to get it to 6.3v (the resistance of the filament is different between the two). Also, the display is fairly dim, and in a moderate

I replaced the wall wart with a salvaged laptop supply that is rated at 12v 2amps. Maybe this will help. I did a lot of depoisioning over the last few days and the tubes (six in total) are mostly clear now so it will be interesting to see if they start poisioning again. They are all 1981 date

Hello all, I have what was a nos set of tubes in a spectrum 18, running at 170v. At least two tubes display incomplete digits. I have the PIR sensor installed it may be even less than 1000 hours. Could I be doing something wrong or just a bad batch of tubes? They are all the same date code.
