Hello all,
I know it is said the 6lo4v is the same as 6lo1i but I do not believe this
is true. For one thing, the heater requires a different trimming resistor
to get it to 6.3v (the resistance of the filament is different between the
two). Also, the display is fairly dim, and in a moderate
ned at the same time every day.

Yes. Twice now I have had to replace an in17 in my pv electronics "frank 3"
clock after one of my kids tipped it over. Just the weight of it was enough to
smash the face. The 4 in12 were fine.

Hello all,
I have what was a nos set of tubes in a spectrum 18, running at 170v. At least
two tubes display incomplete digits. I have the PIR sensor installed it may be
even less than 1000 hours. Could I be doing something wrong or just a bad
batch of tubes? They are all the same date code.
I've read that the IN1 will go bad quickly but I've had a set of tubes running
8 months and they are still going strong, I think maybe it depends on the batch?

I've been slowly hoarding various Nixie tubes mostly out of ten Soviet states,
