Dear Mr. Dave and all:
In the snmpd.conf I wrote the row:
monitor -u me -r 10 -o sysUpTime.0 "monitor" oaOutputOpticalPower.0 > 1
and when I run the :
$ ./snmpd ?f ?Le ?DmteTriggerTable
the output is:

Hi, all
Does the DHCPD in Linux support SNMP?
If it does, how?
How can I get the paramaters of the DHCPD through SNMP.
THANKS!

I'm running one subagent sending a lot of traps and
when it sends 299 traps it stops, the "snmpd" process

Any ideas on this?
Hi,
look at the CVS in:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/net-snmp/net-snmp/perl/TrapReceiver/
and for the example look at the man page of TrapReceiver (after
installing net-snnp configured with embedded_perl support ):
man 3 NetSNMP::TrapReceiver
Hope this helps

You're right! It only one packet. Now it time to

Are you still getting this error message?
That would explain why you're not see any traps!

You might do better looking at developing this as a "normal" MIB

three values at once.

Correct.
The pass mechanism is designed to process an individual varbind.
It doesn't group related varbinds from a single reque

Hello,
I use a perl script as pass_persist EXEC to handle some OIDs.
snmpget and snmpgetnext requests work fine but I am not sure about set
requests.
The OID is about lvm (logic volume management) , i want to create a new lv
through snmp. then the command is :
