. hope it works then. :-)
But if mib2c automatically generates the
netsnmp_table_helper_add_indexes call with all the indices, I don't
see what I have to modify in this part.
Thanks

Abou the registration part, will mib2c generate the
'netsnmp_table_helper_add_indexes' call with the correct parameter
count or will it take only one and I have to insert the other(s) by
hand?
Thanks again.

Hi there everyone,
We've recently had the need to change our private MIB and extend it
with a table with two indices. But now we're having some problems with
how to implement the get and getnext requests, i. e., how to walk
through that table. Simply put: how should we modify the stubs
generated b
, but has been superceded by the handler-based

Is there a more up to date documentation available? If not, please
help me guys cause I'm really lost here... :-)
Thanks.

Ok, tried deleting .index from /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs and it
didn't change anything. When I run that command you said, I get the
following:
snmptranslate -IR -Dread_config: sysContact
read_config:initmib: using mibdirs: /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs
read_config:initmib: using mibs: +VIA-PE-MIB

Yeah, VIA-PE-MIB is my MIB.

SNMPv2-MIB::sysContact
Wasn't /home/fabio/.snmp/mibs supposed to be in there too?
Thanks

Ok, let me explain in detail the problem I am experiencing:
I deleted my MIB file from the /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs/ and put it
on $HOME/.snmp/mibs/. Then I added my MIB to the MIBS variable so that
mib2c could find it, as well as the default mibs, with the command:
$> export MIBS=+MY-MIB
As fa
already put the home mib dir.
Thanks

Hey there,
I'm developing a tool that automatically inserts the custom code from
my company's applications into the stubs generated by net-snmp. This
tool has to be really generic, so that it runs on any machine,
regardless of the path where net-snmp was installed. When I'm parsing
a private MIB,
Hey there, thanks for the response.
I can't reproduce the fail right now to get the backtrace and send ito
to you, cause there's only two machines available and they're
currenlty being used for testing, so maybe tomorrow I can do it. Then
I'll post it here.
About the other question, the traps are
