I just compiled kernel 2.2.9. I chose modular support for parallel port

parport_pc.o was there when I compiled 2.2.6.

try and have them ported for Linux also. But if you want them and want to

I believe that it is suggested that you make your swap partition at least
twice as large as your amount of RAM for your system to run reasonably. I
have 40MB of RAM and a swap of 50MB (couldn't allocate more at the time) and
my linux system runs a little faster than my Win 98 on a good day.
I have a humnm I think 60M of swap partition. I did this because I chose
workstation installation and automatically assigns this number. My
question is : How do I change this to a 100M for example?

Linux machines on the lan to access the printer. The printer is working
fine on the local machine. I tried to configure the other machines to
print to it using printtool. From the remote machines, when I try to
print, I

I don't think PM from PowerQuest works on linux. I have linux on my drive. I
don't have anything that resembles windows. I know there is a command while
in root. I remember reading it about it. I don't recall the source though.

You'll have to check what linux did, it might of changed your partitions
to more like 150/16/150, this is the default settings for a workstation
with what you had left.
if it didn't you'll be good with 400/native 50/swap
and the heck with extended.
Thats a small drive for Windows and Linux.
I am having extreme difficulties
