If you are getting your IP addresses via DHCP (from your ISP) then the initialization resets your /etc/resolv.conf file. Check to see that it correctly lists the IP's of the ISP's DNS server. If not put them there... I.E. NAMESERVER 1xx.xxx.xxx.xxx Then run NSLOOKUP and see if you get a

You are going to have a hard time fitting even a minimal install of Mandrake on there which is somewhere around 400 MB (non-custom install). The smallest linux install I've done was a RedHat 5.2 install (with no gui though) on a 127 MB. It is possible that if you carefully go through each
