Hello,
I'm trying to get a Mandrake Linux 8.1 server that my friend had set
up running on my school's network, but unfortunately it is not getting
an IP address. I've taken the network card and plugged it into my
Windows box, activated it on the network, and placed it back in the
server
Are you trying to send from your home when you weren't before? I've

actually connected to the school's network. I'm preparing to set up my
own sendmail for when I'm home this summer.
Nope... I got two incoming POP3 accounts,
I don't understand the concept behind a United Linux distribution, BUT I

Are we talking about Unreal or Unreal Tournament here??
:) believe me when I tell you it is the best $10 dollars you will have
ever spent on a game to run in Linux. Provided you're not going to try and

Thanks, but that's not it - I tried all those different variations. I

I'm trying to set my panel up with a background image, but for some
reason the background doesn't show up and instead I can't get the color

for some reason I can't get it to be the color for puch buttons and not
the panel.

Hi everyone, I have used Mozilla quite extensively in WinXP (I know, I

First off, thank you for the help copying my Mozilla bookmarks - I
didn't realize it was so easy. Two other things: 1) How do I import my
Mozilla bookmarks in Konqueror and 2) I have a friend who use(d) IE and
I just got him to try Linux - how would he import the IE bookmarks into

that the bookmarks are pretty much the same in
both Mozilla and Netscape. The above worked well for me.
