It's the scroll wheel, I have an MS Trekker mouse which did the same.
I think what fixed it was, tell X that the protocol for it is IMPS/2, in the
/etc/X11/XF86Config or /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file. This is what I
have:

I have an MS Trekker mouse, which LM recognises as a Standard
PS/2 2-button mouse. I tried telling MouseDrake it was a Generic
PS2 wheel mouse, but that resulted in weird things as if one button
was permanently down. The wheel worked perfectly in LM 8.0B1.
What can I do to get back to those good
Hi! What driver do I use for a Logitech Thunderpad? It doesn't say it's a
Logitech Thunderpad Digital, so I am assuming it's not, it's just a plain one.
It runs out of the game port, it's not USB or anything.
