I'm having trouble with backspace under X-Windows. It works for
some apps (kvt, xterm), but not others (emacs, rxvt). When it doesn't
work, it behaves like "delete" instead - it deletes the character under
the cursor, when I want it to delete the character to the left of the
cursor.
You could also try "rpm -qa | grep apache" - but that will only
work if you're using the default install, not if you've overwritten it
with your own. To find where the files went, you can try
"rpm -ql apache | less"

I've two computers. One box is set up as a
gateway/proxy/ipmasquerating/etc. which I connect to the net via dialup. I
surf from my main computer which is connected to this gateway box via ethernet.
This all works fine.
BTW, the "Demos" tutorials on the Mandrake site were instrumental in helping

Salve a tutti,
sono un neofita di linux ed uso una distribuzione mandrake 7; sono alle
prese con due problemi:
1) come si masterizza un cd-rw copiando singoli file alla stregua della
Direct CD di windows?
fino ad ora sono riuscito a copiare solo immagini di cd completi ma
non mi sembra il modo
