To be quite honest you WILL NOT be able to do a proper update of evolution from cooker tree to an 8.2 box. The reason I say this is that the 8.2 box was compiled w/ gcc 2.96.x and thus through the last major set of releases you could update only a few things to get some cooker functionality,
