Okay has anyone ever setup nfs using mandrake7.2
i am trying to get my larger system to run as a nfs server.
... and for some odd reason alot of the stuff in the nfshowto isnt working
(findind nfsd, nfs, mountd... etc)
so i need to know howto find, or install the following
1. mountd (and get

now... where do i tell the kernel to load it?
i put it in rc.sysinit
/etc/init.d/portmap start
/etc/init.d/nfslock start
portmap started fine... nfs locks the machine and gets some stupid error?
from what i understand they removed this a while back...
or at least the version used to make OEM systems doesnt have that stupid
reg'd thing (actually includes a cd code).

mandrake machines cdrom... could i just take out *.localdomain... and put
