But people ARE going to download Mandrake (or use free" discs from magazines, etc.) and if they have trouble they will summarily dismiss Mandrake as being "no good" when a retail package might have or be just what they need. You have to make the new version slick enough to protect people

Charles- I have a cd rw but it's just an expensive 24 spin cd rom as far as i , idiot that i am, can use it. It's a panasonic 7585 and although i followed the instructions in the muo howto, i still am only able to read fron it but hey, my windows 98 wont even recognize it! =michael=
