Mine was throwing some pretty weird stuff at me too I never had a problem there (cause i never tried it... never could get those sound previews to work on KDE... GNOME, find but not KDE but then.. the sound effects themselves work on KDE and not GNOME hmmm) mine were elsewhere. Some

Anyone else notice that from the Control Center - Look n Feel - System notifications, that if you preview an AU sound file that it not only doesn't play, but you lose sound until the next time KDE is restarted. Is this a known bug or just something about my setup? Thanks! ;-) --
