Bascule. I forgot to mention that although I have both Linux and Windows, I don't dual boot. I have four hard drives each in it own tray (caddie). Each drive has a different operating system on (2 Linux, 1 Windows and one for experimenting). I "plug in" to the computer what operating system I w

keith, i've looked at the specs for both products, the nic is bog-standard, references to setting up the 'bios' make no sense to me, it is a pci card that should need no pre configuring of irq etc. however if you are dual booting win, then there is no harm in running whatever prog come with it,

I am about to change to broadband and the hardware has now arrived. Clarification of a couple of points would be greatly appreciated, please. The Ethernet card has a CD which includes a "wizard" for setting up both it and the BIOS automatically. But it's for Windows :( I have 98SE, which I ver
