Curtis,
Thanks, I tinkered with Evolution and it looks really promising. A few years
ago I dumped Outaluck Express in search of a non-Microsoft email client.
Although I've been using StarOffice, there's always room for improvement
(especially with speed). It appears that Evolution may be
I'm just curious if any of you consider a TO: column as being important
for email clients. Why won't some of the email readers (like Kmail
Netscape/Mozilla) include this important TO: column? It would allow me
to quickly spot if its junk mail or just know who it's addressed to. I

Good idea but your suggestion implies that there is a TO: field. Kmail
doesn't have a TO: field to make use of a filter. Or am I not
understanding what you're saying?

In fact, both Kmail and Netscape does have a TO: field to use to
filter. Maybe you didn't really look that closely, because you
*believed* that it didn't.
But I dun get you when you say there's no TO: field. I can see the
TO: field for all my emails. Do you mean when it's listing the emails
I would just like to have a TO: column. Yes there is a TO: field but
it's nice to see it in a column next to Subject, Sender, Date where you can
quickly pan up and down. And yes I could use the filter option to split up
the emails according to its TO: field. But when you have well over

I've got to add that I've been using Evolution and it does have that
option (adding TO: to the Inbox view). My ISP provides 3 email
addresses and the To: option actually inspired me to add an email
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) to be used strictly for newsgroups. It works
pretty good.
