My dad uses Abi for all of his office work (lots of Spanish and
English), and wanted to know if there was something wrong with it.

I prefer AbiWord because it seems to accept other format documents with the
fewest errors. Not perfectly, but very often acceptable. I haven't had good
luck with KWord or other provided WP programs.

me on a vanilla 8.1, I was able to install 0.9.4 from a src rpm. I
chose the gtk rpm as the gnome one had build errors. Now it's working
perfectly! And I'm a happy man!

I'm using Mandrake 7.2. I installed the latest version of AbiWord (9.2
static) from a tar file. The installation succeeded but when I try to run it
I get the following GDK error:
locale not supported by C library
Nothing happens after that.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
