Hi All,
I have a problem
Every now and then, my mouse pointer will go totally mental, flying round the
screen, opening up applications, minimizing windows, and generally doing it's
own thing.
Is this a problem with Linux or a hardware issue? I have a windows partition,
and not once

Does anyone know how to stop a jittery mouse in
KDE. It just moves to a corner and sticks there with a shaking action when I
move the mouse. It is a PS/2 Intellimouse.

Did you set it up properly in XF86Setup? Make sure you have the correct mouse set
there... sounds
to me like whatever you set it to isn't compatable with your mouse.

X Server up and running, but I finally made it over
that hurdle. I'm using the KDE environment with the
Mach64 accel. server, and the first time I went in the
mouse worked fine. I had to run the xf86config

I forgot to mention, that when you change a mouse setting with
mouseconfig
you need to run Xconfigurator again to get the info into the Xfiles. I

this out when I converted from a serial mouse to a PS/2 mouse on one
machine.
