I also wanted this package and I've succesfully installed it by
compiling the source code from the rosegarden website.
You'll need JACK to allow rosegarden to connect to the MIDI ports
on your soundcard, rpms available from

Hello everybody,
I would like to install my HP 970 cxi printer in Mandrake but I want to

Hello people.
I have a little problem with my network configuration file. I have access to
the Internet trough a router. In order to configure this, I need to alter
the resolv.conf file in the etc folder. I don't have trouble with the
configuration it self. Any time the file is edited I get my
I'm not able to install mandrake 7.2.
When I boot from the install CD, I get a nice "welcome" screen with the
option of typing F1 or just "enter" to go on with normal installation.
After entering, the install program should do some pre-install checks,
but in my case it does nothing = black
Look I've got a keyboardproblem in 7.2
Use an American standard 104-keys keyboard, but I still can't find the

When I puss shift-2, I get the "-key.
Anyone knows this problem?

FYI
It is a Pioneer DVD-ROM, DVD-115.
The CD where the problem occures is not burnt, at least not by myself.
It is a manufacturers CD. CD8 Components from the Mandrake package. The
subdirs from /utilities and /secure server, are empty.
In windows filemanager the files are there.

Dont hurt your brains anymore. When I login as root the files are there
! Probably only the root can install this stuff. Kinda weird that a
normal user is not allowed to see the files.
