Today I took my 96 750 to work. Got here and leave it on the side stand. I just went to the parking lot and most of the oil is on the floor. Apparently, my "don't open" cap, which I cracked like a year ago and fixed with super glue, has gave up and let the oil out. I touched and it just came apart.

Jim, welcome! I am sure with a bit of elbow and patience you can make it look a lot better. I will do all that you have mentioned (oil, oil filter, seafoam). You could also replace the spark plugs (they are cheap enough), and check the air filter (perhaps replace it if too old). I will also check

Javier, SpinRite - from GRC.com - works wonders - will do partial or full sector recovery if possible. It isn't a cure-all - but it does fix issues with the physical discs, that other file system recovery tools won't. If everything else fails - give SpinRite a try.

USB 3.0 is a different connector, different power spec, different data speed spec etc. You can't plug a 3.0 device into a 2.0 port - although I've heard you can do the reverse. Like any other new technology, it will be a few years before I start finding it in general use amongst my customers
