driveway if I need to. But, around town, its fuel mileage is low and on the
high way at 70+ its revving higher than it should and really is not at its
optimal condition. But it will do it.

I could be way off - but that looks like the KG rack I had on my 450
nighthawk - they were semi-universal - the spacers, bolts, bolt holes you
used to fit it to your bike were different based upon the model of bike,
but the rack itself was pretty generic. Very useful!

I'll third the make it permanent comment - my battery tender leads double
as a plug in point for a power point (cigarette lighter style) for my phone
or GPS.
Ironically - I've never used them as a battery tender as I pull the battery
out during the winter to keep it warm..

elatively wide rear tire means that I can use basically all my
throttle from a dead stop without losing grip. I presume the 1300 VTX is
similar but I can't say that for sure. The 1800 - well - it might be a bit
much but I have not ridden one and cannot compare. Just a thought.

I outgrew it. They are not a long distance bike by default and the one
thing with my 29 inch inseam I could never quite get was the proper stance
when stopped.
If you've got longer legs than I do - the 450 is a fine choice.
