OK, I've got the engine bars, and I've got the footpegs, and I've got
them all attached to the motorcycle, and I've got some experience
riding around with them. I'm happy with the results.
Here's a link to some pictures and some commentary:

Check out the national cycle website. I have bought windshields from
them before and have nothing but good things to say about their
customer service.

The engine bars that I bought from Ron Ayers look exactly the same as
on the ebay Nighthawk. That one has added footpegs, which are
purchased separately. I'll try to get pictures of mine, when the
footpegs finally arrive.

I purchased Crash bars on eBay - they eneded up being within 10$ of
Ron Ayers so just buy from them. I then purchased footpegs.
Installation was easy - about 10 minutes total for both.
The riding position is different and does take some time to get used
to.

Whenever I do any type of project I just triple my cost and time spent
on it form the beginning. I have had good expereince with JC whitney
so hopefully you will get those pegs on quick. I just bought a barrel
bag that will sit in front of the sissy bar in hopes of more lumbar

I still can't give you an answer on that one. I mentioned that I
ground out my original pegs to go from 1 inch to 1 1/4 inch in hopes
that I could mount them on the Nighthawk frame. That didn't work, so I
ordered new pegs and planned to put them on the 1 inch crash bars
(i.e. engine guards). Inste
How are the pegs working on the freeway bars?

When it comes to the footpegs, you can easily get 1 1/4" mounts for foot
pegs. If you can find a suitable spot, you could mount them with those. I
think the set I picked up was $17 total.

I bought some from Ron Ayers motorsports for my 93 Nighthawk 750.
Actually, I bought the engine guard or crash bars, if that is what you
