Well, you said you had no problem with netbios name resolution. So I would
have to say that your problem isn't with your WINS implementation but
perhaps with your Browsers. To browse the network neighborhood the machine
has to be able to determine and query a machine that contains the browse

domain several times. Do you delete the account first from Server Manager?
Also how many domain controllers? Any across WAN links? How long are you
waiting? If multiple DC's have you forced a Synchronization?

DC's are all up as no one is having problems logging
in. I have also unjoined and rejoined the domain several times and the
issue persists.
One more thing, I am unable to connect to the
workstation using USRMGR or SRVMGR from an NT Server box.

The NTWS has a statically assigned IP address with all of the pertinent info
provided. I am able to ping the box from anywhere on our network.

I have seen this before.
The cause was that people had staff names in their contact folder and
they had outlook setup to check contacts first.
When they setup a meeting and input a name, OL would grab the person
from the contacts folder. Thus making it impossible to find their
schedule info
