Full day no problem on my pre. You have to turn off the gmail update every 5 min and set it to as it arrives and that little tweak makes a HUGE difference. Also turn off the GPS and Wifi and use as needed. The WebOS is the absolute BEST OS I have used in a smartphone since the PalmOS and the Treo.
