See D. Lum's earlier post titled Heads up: MS12-081 KB2758857 issue.
They might be related somehow. Uninstalling 2758857 solved his issues. It
might be worth a shot starting with that one if you do think it's related

you looked at SCCM (2007 or 2012) , which will give you SUP? Altiris is
in that space as well. Do you need 3rd party updates? SCUP can do that as

seen is an .msi.
Don't get me wrong, btw. I love Chrome, and personally I use it almost
exclusively. I just haven't looked seriously at deploying
KBox. Besides regular Windows security patches, updates all Adobe products,
JAVA, and Sophos and number of other vendor defs. Very easy to use, but
perhaps overkill since kbox is complete system management.

I don't think so - the BITS service is the one downloading the updates. You can
use bitsadmin.exe to see what's in the queue and kill them (from the client
side)
