I apologize for the OT posting, but I figured some of you would find
the following significant.
A colleague of mine, a well known character designer and illustrator,
just received photos a cougar hanging out on the back porch of his
neighbor's property. The property in question is in Sharon, CT.
I went looking for my first Phoebe and my first Pine Warbler today in
Brooklyn's Prospect Park and came across our apparently lingering
Orange-crowned Warbler. Today it seemed to be feeding with a Golden-crowned
Kinglet and I saw it on both sides of the Lullwater north of Terrace Bridge.

We received it, and my wife researched it; it is an internet hoax or "urban
legend."

Brien,wow, what a coincidence! someone i know has a friend who took photos of what is probably the same mountain lion on their Sharon,CT deck too! I've got the photos right here too! :-) truthfully, i saw the photos too, which to the unsuspecting person, myself included, look 'good'. my only quest
