I apologize for the OT posting, but I figured some of you would find the following significant. A colleague of mine, a well known character designer and illustrator, just received photos a cougar hanging out on the back porch of his neighbor's property. The property in question is in Sharon, CT.

I went over to the air field to look over the grass lands at the air fields for Short eared Owls, Hawks etc.over the weekend. Saw at least two harriers and Red Tailed hawks, but no owls. I did see a flock of 6 or 7 Meadowlarks. I got pretty good looks in my scope but when I drove closer to
