, thank you very much, sad news...
Is there any plan to develop an append-to-file feature?
Cheers

myuser.restored

Restore: Skipping remainder of volume myuser.backup (YYY)
Had the same result with backup volrestore and backup volsetrestore,
for any volume.

Can you tell me what's in the config file for the butm port?
(/usr/afs/backup/CFG_port number)
the file is CFG_var_openafs_backup_link and its content is
FILE YES
MOUNT /var/openafs/backup/bin/mount-script
UNMOUNT /var/openafs/backup/bin/mount-script

forget something? (I've
tried with only the first server and both servers in CellServDB of
clients...)

would it be another option to have a simple fileserver added to both
administrative servers (with the same cell name??) and migrate volumes
with a vos move from old to this fs then move from this fs to new?

Hi!
another way to copy the volumes (WITH the ACLs and quota) is to vos dump
them and vos restore in the other cell (if users/groups are the same).
Had done that some different times here

I'm currently installing OpenAFS 1.4.4 and I did a few dumps to test my

the dumps I see when doing a backup dumpinfo, I don't see any
command to do this, any idea ?
