You created the pool using slices and not whole disks (that's why it's cXtXdXsX instead of just cXtXdX). That's necessary only for the root pool, it's better not to do that for data pools. If that pool is empty, destroy it and rebuild it using whole disks (just the cXtXdX part, no sX), then yo

Hi Tim, I don't recall creating them with slices; like you say, only the root pool needs that, which was done because originally it had two SSD units for root in another machine. There was a bit of kerfaffery with other versions, but I do beleive I copied everything off, then destroyed the set an
