are you using openct or some pcsc driver? are you using opensc or some other pkcs#11 library? do opensc-tool, pkcs15-tool and pkcs11-tool work fine? maybe the lower level need to be debugged first? (I don't have pam_pkcs11 clue, but can help with lower level stuff maybe.) Andreas
