&bpc=1 is not working again for me (for few days now) - not showing
gadgets at all.
Good news are that changes in sandbox are refreshed automatically
after few minutes.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for taking care about cachining. Just as a clue that can help:
if I am not able to get &bpc=1 working from my profile, I usually open
my app for some other profile and nearly always it works then. I
wasn't trying for two days now, but for me there were problems for

Hi Marshall. Assuming you're still seeing this, what country are you
accessing the sandbox from? Are you noticing this with the sandbox
only or with www.orkut.com as well?

Firefox seems to have the issue now surprisingly. Several errors
start popping up when using FF as if some Orkut .js file is not
loading:
_addUnLoadEvent is not defined
_addLoadEvent is not defined
_populateAppInfo is not defined
_GTalk is not defined
etc
No problems in IE7.

Hi Jevs. I'm sorry for your frustration. &bpc=1 appears to be working
now; please let me know if you see otherwise.
Currently, both the sandbox and www.orkut.com honor the Cache-Control
headers returned by the server hosting the application. If the max-age
property of these headers is very large,
We just pushed a fix for this problem, so you should see this working
again. Please respond if you continue having problems.
Sorry for this inconvenience!

Orkut, any word?
This is a terrible flaw that makes the sandbox terribly ineffective in
testing our apps on the Orkut API, especially since there are still
huge differences in implementations across the different opensocial
containers.
Please respond asap and let us iterate our apps quicker than

Hi John,
Is it possible that your IE instance is caching the response in the
browser? There should be no reason why bpc=1 would work in Firefox and not
in IE.

Hi everyone,
I had a similar problem yesterday when I even changed the name of the XML
that I was reading bu the opensocial.makeRequest and even so the old data
was still there. I cleaned my Cache, used the "disable Cache" from
WebDeveloper Add-on but nothing happened.
Thanks,

Hi Christopher,
Orkut actually doesn't cache JS files that are included in your
application, so you're probably experiencing a browser caching issue. I
experienced a similar problem, where I had to navigate to the JS file and
hard refresh to see updates to the file, and found out that it was becau
I ran into a problem that I reported which was that bpc=1 didn't re-
cache anything except the application .xml file.
Example: application.xml would re-cache, but the application.js file
that the app was including would not re-cache.
Solution for this is to actually have ALL of your javascript i
I have no issues with images so far at least but bpc=1 doesn't work.
It keeps bringing the couple days old data sometimes. It is hard for
me to test the app like this.
Arne, Can you help me with this?
Cheers,

It's working.
The problem was it used to not have the default thumbnail url for
member who has not provided with a profile photo, so i checked for
undefined property and i provide a default image url. Now Orkut gives
you a default broken thumbnail url, so i kept seeing the broken image
