I'm having the same issue with a DFI-Lanparty UT-SLI-DR. The only way to get
it to work is to pull the driver off of a U2 install. The nge driver will not
work from the U3 install or an snv_b53. Powering off did not work, nor
changing the BIOS settings as was recommended in another thread.
You guys are the kings. Indeed it was bug 6455727. And indeed that DTrace
one-liner illuminated the problem where no other tool could.
The resolution was simple, add the following line to lighttpd.conf:
server.network-backend = writev
The Blastwave package is built with this backend, so its
So far a lot of effort has gone into allowing members of the OpenSolaris
Community contribute code to OpenSolaris, this has been great and a lot of
progress has been made on this front.
I think it would be a great idea for non-programmers (Such as myself) to be
able to contribute to specific
So U3 is out and according to the Docs LDOM support is included.
Up to 32 logical domains per system, managed by a CLI, the Logical Domains
(LDoms) Manager 1.0 software, which is a separate download
But I still can't find where to download the Logical Domains Manager 1.0
software.
Any clues?

And there you have it. To verify Matt's hypothesis, run the DTrace
one-liner that I sent you; if it's the bug that Matt suggested (which
certainly matches the symptoms you describe), you'll see stack traces
like this one in the output:
issig_forreal+0x5c0()

Matt,
Actually, he did in the message at 10:45PM PST:
# dtrace -n profile-1234hz'/pid == 4308/[EMAIL PROTECTED]()] = count()}
Interestingly, the only difference between that and one Ben had tried is
he used stack() instead of ustack(), which is much more appropriate for
this situation.

Hi
Slightly OT on reading benr saying that comments are not visible.
OpenSolaris being an open community, it seems strange that the comments on bugs
are still not public.
Being employed in a large organization, I know that most comments are less than
ideal for public consumption :-) , but I'd

Yes, I agree with your take on the issue, and having been involved in such kind
