Hi,
I tried updating my system with b65 and got "Input Not Supported" right after
the language select option.
Anyone else experienced the same issue?
Thank you

Good move, the more useful code released under CDDL the better.

"The Best" desktop is not the same thing as the "As Much Java As Possible"
desktop. While an all-java desktop would be a neat novelty, that is apparently
not what JDS currently strives for.

have been succesfully compiled Qt 4.3.0 with Sun Studio 11, 12.
Everything works fine, but designer freeze and then nothing happend.
This freeze doesn't happend if i use gcc (bundled in solaris 10 - gcc

Not really - that was just a name chosen when "Java" was added
Hi,
I am currently wondering about where the new Solaris Desktop system JDS is
going to.
I cannot see more Java tools in there than with all other Destop Systems I had
used in the past.
So I would suggest to make a list of candidate tools that could be improved and
integrated in JDS.

JDS was meant to be a Java Desktop System wasn't it ?
So, I would suggest to go with www.jpedal.org and build a nice Java PDF Viewer
that finally runs on each and every system. I'm using it on various Solaris
boxes and it works already sufficiently well.
To test it unpack the archive to /opt/jp

of where we are right now as a community. Some people have been asking
me lately about metrics and such, so I thought now would be a good time
to look back and collect some of the key items in one place. We keep
