If any of this ancient stuff would be useful
with my old Interactive/386 and Microport/286 stuff,
then, no, it shouldn't be removed.

I was curious to see a manpage for machid(1) which has not been updated
since 5 Jul 1990. A good solid 17.5 years more or less. The manpage makes
reference to IBM System/370 and VAX-11/750 and PDP-11/45. Systems that I
have not seen in twenty years or so. I fell upo

Hi
Couple of thoughts to proceed:
1. Boot with kmdb attached on system console (serial/local). When this happens,
F1-A into the debugger and do some looking around. When you're at it, also take
a crash dump/stacktrace for others to take a peek. Here's the guide:

I'm using it on my personal LAN at home. I've connected to a share with
from both OS X Tiger and Windows XP. I followed the steps at

I still need to investigate these, but so far I've hit two problems.
I've seen the smb/server
Does the vender id and device id that /usr/X11/bin/scancpi and prtconf -pv
output show for the e1000g show in your /etc/driver_aliases this is managed by
the add_drv command:
add_drv -i "pcivendor-id,device-id" e100g ( check the man page for the syntax
with single quotes around the double quote

Just a second Dennis. You say that the delta is greater than .5 sec,
but based on the
How do you specify the -I include for the Mesa directory so that the build can
take place, as it automatically appends GL/ . eg
GL/gl.h
GL/glu.h
Attempting to build with the NVIDIA include indicates the file is not present
it looks for GL/glu.h which is not provided.
If NVIDIA provides its incl

I like the idea of this; however, it does introduce a point o
The IBM PC-AT rtc returns the next second only 0.5 seconds after setting it. I
assume that this was to keep the error to +/- 0.5 seconds. However, the result
is that the system clock will be 0.5 seconds faster after a reboot.
At various periods there has been a work-around for this in Linux. Thi
Thanks a lot ..
Will try to look as to what could be the problem.
Thanks
