Maybe you set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH in .bashrc or .profile.
Can you try to unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH and run firefox again in terminal?
If it doesn't work. Then maybe you firefox profile is destroyed.
Try to backup $HOME/.mozilla directory and start firefox again.

Solaris Express or Solaris 10 (keep in mind that Solaris Express IS a variant

Windows I think. Maybe benchmarks says it differs, but for normal use you will
not notice. I am running windowsXP and Ubuntu at the same time. Full speed.

While running OpenSolaris snv_116 I did an upgrade which created a new
BE running OS snv_118. I restarted OS and chose OS snv_118 to boot.
What I see is the OS boot screen with the progress bar moving and it has
been doing that for about an hour. Has anyone had success with this?
