I am trying to boot using live CD and everything
works till console login but the GNOME is failing to

1. Oracle is still making patch updates to OpenSolaris 2009.06. See support

2. OSOL DEV 134 is available, otherwise OSOL 2009.06.

Server. The time of depoly for the Boxes are 5 years. When ends the EOL for
OpenSolaris 2009? I don't wanna upgrade the OS in this time. Only securityfixes

Yes my current problem is that Oracle doesn't sell me a Solaris 10 licence
because my Hardware isn't in the HCL.

I tried installing the 2009.06 livecd this morning and after it completed the
transfer process it didn't complete the installation but then it crashed when I
tried to view the install log.
I did some more looking around, and I'm now booted to the dev-134 iso cd, and
this one at least got me
