Hi,
I did a clean install of Solaris 11 Express and I notice that while the
Oracle Solaris 11 Package Repository has more packages (3941) than
OpenSolaris (3794) it doesn't have GCC 4 or OpenOffice.
Is Oracle planning to add more packages to the repository in the future?

I reverted to doing the following:
1) add "e1000g0 static x.x.x.x/24" to /etc/nwam/llp
2) add "x.x.x.1" to /etc/defaultrouter
3) cp /etc/nsswitch.dns /etc/nsswitch.conf
4) add "name server ip" tpo /etc/resolv.conf

I am trying to make the switch from CentOS to OpenSolaris as my work PC
desktop. So far so good, but one thing is making me pull my hear out and
may drive me back to CentOS. It is very slow when I try to resize a
window. This is killer for me since I may have over 14 terminals
