I think these commands have to do with gparted app. The mount seems to be for
that app within the partition so the data is viewed as used or unused no
interaction with individual files.

I don't think the IPS repos will disappear soon. In that memo it was stated
they are going to try to get a migration path from Opensolaris to Solaris 11
Express. So until that bridge is built, I believe they will keep the current
repo going.
So now Solaris 11 keeps the tm opensolaris

OK, I'm not ready to get let down but I'm still disillusioned with terminology.
When I first heard of cloud computing it was in conjunction with Solaris open.
Nexenta seems to have taken this kernel to a higher spot. Their public
private clouds have seemingly surpassed Indiana.com . But to me

can NOT read / write data to NTFS
This probably does not answer any of your questions but the only way I found to
keep OS at NTFS is to reinstall it first to that partition. Then install the
open Solaris OS; its grub will pick back up that now nonactive boot layer. This
is a start over

If his newbe experience is close to my own, he has lost windows entirely. He
could have tried to install opensolaris.com. So the question could be how do
you keep that from hogging the entire disk? SXCE has no problem honoring
partitions but they need to be primary not logical.
