Hi, einar,
That's fine with me as long as I can access OS ZFS partitionfrom Linux.
The problem is that Linux is set over ReiserFS partition, so I can't do
anything from OpenSolaris, unless there is some kind of tool in OpenSolaris for
that.
Also I was hoping that somehow it is possible to
Hi, einar,
I installed zfs-fuse version 0.5, which is latest stable.
Then I ran /etc/init.d/zfs-fuse to run zfs daemon. Then I tried to run
zfs create..., which apparently wiped out Solaris install.
After re-installing Solaris and booting back to Gentoo I tried
zpool import -R /mnt/solaris
Hi, einar,
I'm trying to do the opposite - mount ZFS from Linux (Gentoo).
I installed zfs-fuse package on Linux, but unfortunately, it does not work.
Any suggestions?

bartus11,
Can I install the driver and then un-install it or I will have to re-install
the system? I'm talking about the ext2/ext3 driver, not the FSWfsmisc...
Thank you.

I have a dual-boot machine with the OpenSolaris and Gentoo Linux.
In order to get access from Linux to OpenSolaris partition, I installed

Hi, Alan,
Another reason I want to tweak the kernel is that I need access to the ReiserFS
file system on the Linux, since the computer is a dual-boot.
Unless I need some third-party software or I can somehow verify that kernel
does supports it...
Thank you.

Hi, bartus11,
Define difficult to configure. Is there a documentation on how to do it?
I'm willing to experiment with it and try it out.
Also, I would be more than happy to test an ext2/ext3 driver to help with it
development. Are you on the dev team for it? If not who should I contact?
