consume fantastic amounts of CPU cycles. Firefox crashed alot when I
had beagle and the accompanying firefoxplugin installed, but now it
hasn't crashed since uninstalling.

Sure enough, after upgrading, Amarok has switched from the xine sound
engine to helix. Changing it back to xine did the trick. Any one else
experienced this?
