I've noticed that - several banks use the same back end and they got
upgraded recently, and if you don't have IE, it doesn't like it. This
is very common with some US banking sites as of late unfortunately.

Mobile Homes is SIMILAR but not the same as Windows Briefcase - there is
more automation to Mobile Homes, and also more automation than rsync and
KDE syncing. The issue is syncing files on BOTH ends, which people

Please realize that Mark Shuttleworth did something like this before
when he started Ubuntu. He publicly offered paying jobs to the top
Debian developers. As far as Ubuntu is concerned, it worked! Many

Nope, he's not wrong, unfortunately. Mandriva suffered this fate, and
Suse/Novell are suffering the same fate. It will take a while, but it's

That is MY experience - I side with Scott.

Swearing aside, this was exactly my point. Anyone can "whitebox"
OpenSUSE and simply remove the brandnames and graphics and you'd be fine.
Yes, this is certainly a lot of work, as you'd need to leave in the
correct copyright notices, etc. Lots of people do this with Cooker and
Mandriva.

Great use of swearing at us from SUSE people. Just the sort of public

You indeed can make a custom distro based upon all of the GPL & Open

Perfectly legal.
Maybe if Novell really doesn't allow redistribution for co
