So this little story started two nights ago when someone brought in a no-ID
paph to the San Francisco Orchid Society Meeting.

It's a relatively small flower for a paph and I immediately though of Harol
Koopowitz's recent article on "tiny" paphs in the latest Orchid D
Suggest that tons of conservation money go to protecting the Foja mountain
area of New Guinea. No specific mention of orchids but they have to be there
and won't be for too long now that the word is out -- and I am contributing
to spreading that word. (LOL)

orchid...problem is, its not an orchid! They are members of the

Gerald, you shouldn't believe everything the media tells you. In their
OK.now, as I understand it, a few years ago some paphs appeared in the
trade, originally from Laos. These plants had blooms that were typical of
gratrixianum, but had very broad leaves, similar to a complex hybrid.
