RE the question about World Origami Days (WOD): I only know of the event
being hosted by the Van Nuys Japanese Garden, in Van Nuys, CA, on 03nov.
The Garden normally puts on an origami event each spring and fall. Spring
is usually for Mother's Day and Fall is just called "Origami Day" or some
such

On September 30th Faye E. Goldman announced in the list the global activity
proposed by OrigamiUSA to conmemorate WOD during this year: promote origami
through public libraries.
