That way you still get a free map update from OsmAnd every month. Otherwise
you have to keep regenerating your maps to keep them up to date.

I use these as well on my inbuilt android head unit in my car. They still
contain footpaths and the like as it contains all highways (tag: highway=*)
but don't have a lot of other "disturbing" map items.
