I would definitely train level transfers first, but I guess
the problem is that the power chair is high, so the bed
would have to be so high that her feet wouldn't be properly
supported on the ground when bed side sitting?
I guess this is why I've yet to find any transfer

Yes both up and down the bed but I can't begin to describe what he does.
Just that having something to grab above him seems to help him move. Once
again he has sensation and movement - 'just' can't flex at the hip
