happens with spam emails which are syntactically invalid, plus only if
you're using an ISO mysql database. Can you confirm this?

assuming that you are using a RedHat like system (having SELinux), right ?
but neither this will be enough... did you try with some sniffer (tcpdump)
or with netstat to see if connection are in SYN_RECV or similar states

Thanks for the response. I haven't had enough time to actually check on
tcpdump. Dmesg doesn't seem to return any problems. It is Fedora 13
actually. I will test that today - time permitting. This works fine
accessing it from the outside or atleast resolving the outside from the
Load balancer, IDS, traffic shaper, ssl accellerator... I don't know ;D
Other appliance??
