I'm currently setting up an OTRS implementation. When creating a new ticket
as a customer I was hoping it would send me an email on outlook, but it
appears it will only show as a notification if I log into OTRS. Is there a
way to have an email sent to me if a new ticket has been created?
/html/x1058.html , but it still does not appear to
work even after restarting the otrs service

Hello forum,
I have a linux box with OTRS installed and an exchange 2007 box from which I
cant seem to send mail to.
I've tried sending mail to my account but for some reason it stays on the
linux box and never makes it to my outlook. I just tried sending an email
(response to my test ticket)
It appears all modules are there except for a few that arent needed -
forgive me asking what seems like an extremely simple question but how would
I authorize my linux box to use exchange? (its exchange 2007)

Can you create a client rule in outlook when receiving from people (or @
company.com) to forward it and also leave it in the mailbox? that way it
still goes to both?

I don't think such a feature exists. I've asked if
any ideas?
