Hi
Use sudo (as root):
sudo -u otrs /path/to/sh /path/to/Cron.sh start otrs
I added the sh because it could be lost when running sudo.

I beleive ZZZAuto.pm is created while doing configurations inside the
OTRS web interface. There is always saved a zipy of that file in the
same directory, so you should be able to recover using that.

The error message from Mysql suggests a timeout when running the sql. It could
be that otrs starts a transfer, then does something else (like smtp) and then
finnishes off the sql bits.

by "Got no Email at
/opt/otrs/Kernel/System/PostMaster.pm line 45." when running manually.
The biggest problem is that the script does'nt delete each mail after
processing, but waits until it reaches it's limit and then fetches mails
double. How can we avoid this?

PostMasterPOP3.pl manually and found some bugs. I think
we still have som table alterations to finnish off, but it works now. :)

This seems to solve the immediate problem, but I can't really see it as
a good permanent solution.
Is this a known problem? What could be the solution?

Hi
We changed all the tables to InnoDB to avoid locking issues, and there
was no problem with that. It did not give us any big performance gain
though. We're still using v 1.2.2, but I don't think the DB layout has
changed a whole lot.

Hi,
I was wondering what the bes
"CustomerID" field rather then
using "From" or "To" fields in the email.
What would make this ultimately better though, would be to get our internal
Custimer ID numbers into OTRS, but I can't see any seamless way of doing
this. I'm sure I can "
it runs as nobody
you'll have to set read/write for all. Easiest then is to "chmod 666

Did OTRS wait until the server was available again and process all messages
at that time? I
handle it there. I beleive the new case (the one you split out) should
get a
created time "now".
Just my 2 cents

I don't think you'll experience much of a difference. The main reason we
changed was because of locking issues.
The problem with MyISAM is that it has locking only on tables, not rows.
On smaller databases MyISAM will actually be faster.
