I use an off-the-shelf dpdt 10A@240V relay with a 12V coil and turn it on and off with a bc547 in common emitter. This can be driven by an arduino pin or any similar TTL level output. You'll want a wall wart or similar at the relay. Relay |-- TTL-/\/\---|< ^ <- diode

Following a recent thread which provided a number of different ways of sensing AC power (120/220VAC) I wonder what are the options for AC power switching via 1-wire. Commercially I have only found devices such as [1] and [2] which seem rather expensive. I just want a single relay (or SSR) output.
