You need to get a ROM from a color 68K device to use in your Palm OS
Emulator. These are no longer available from PalmSource, but if you
look hard enough online, I'm sure you can find some. The m505 or m515
ROM images are probably best. As an alternative, you can use the Palm
OS SImulator
I would download a simulator from from either palmsource or palm (developer
area).
But if you must use emulator, see if you can find the rom images for the
emulator (palmsource). Look for the m505 or m515 rom.

I think you're missing the point; you should not be using stack space so
heavily. Remember that the PalmOS is a memory constrained device, and use
it's space wisely. The stack is the worst place to store instances of large
C++ objects, or C structures, declare a pointer instead, and allocate the
AFAIK, you can't increase your stack size.
Be more conservative with your RAM usage. Don't declare large objects or
structures on that stack, but use the dynamic heap instead.

DmQueryNextInCategory will return NULL (0) if there is no next record. I
trust your loop looks for this and terminates in this case
I hope this is covered by the line
while ((mh = DmQueryNextInCategory(dbPtr, index, CurrentCat)) != NULL) {
I haven't written in C for quite a few years
tools (CodeWarrior can
do this) for that approach.

(I am using the GCC compiler)
I don't have any tools for examining the chunk info, but if I display the
record attributes (in category 255 mode), it shows as 64 for a Category 0
record
