Hi, Raul, in that case, wouldn't you have to use the stereo linerec,
because if you didn't, since everything is going through the linerec,
it would be in mono? I am in a situation where I can't use linerec,

Hello All
I have an onboard sound card and a second soundblaster card . I use the
onboard card for for jaws and the windows sounds and the second for

Hi, you can try http://www.unitedmicro.com. They are pretty cheap there. I do not
work for them nor do I get any discounts
for mentioning them. I am just a happy customer of theirs.

Hi All,
Does anyone have the subscription address for the Winamp user list? I lost a lot of

Hi Raul.
Thanks for that.
Only problem is that they're using a mixer and with what ya described here
it sounds like if we did it your way we would be taking the mixer out of
the picture and they'd rather use that since they like the sound of it.
I'll keep your directions around though, just in c
Hello,
I won an Ipod at work and have been able to get it somewhat functional. The
first step was to ditch the Itunes software, which I found totally unusable.
There is a peace of software called Anapod Explorer put out by RedChair
software which works like a dream. The URL is www.redchairsoftwar

Chris. The best way to do this is by using one winamp to play music and the second

Hi Gary, 128K is not CD quality. I don't care what sound forge says.
192K is CD quality, though you could use 220K or something similar to
get improved audio results. I think 128K is minidisk, and it's about
the same quality as the best of the satellite or other digital
radio/TV transmissions. W

Hi Gary.
If you're playing an audio CD versus MP3 files on a PC, depending on your
sound card and speakers, it's very conceivable that you won't notice much
difference if any at all. Also, if you were to play an audio CD on a fairly
low-fi portable CD player and compare MP3 files played by the sa
Hi Kevin. As stated before, I'm trying to learn how to burn CD's. My
brother copied ten MP3 CD's for me that he got from a friend. In comparison
with some songs that I have on music CD's, I didn't find much difference
between how those songs on the music CD's sounded with those same songs that

Hi Gary.
You've probably seen Bruce's note on music sound quality and I'd agree with
him 100%. Any music compressed to MP3 will suffer some degradation in sound
quality.
However, WAV files don't support MP3 tag id's and are a little unwieldy for
today's portable players so if you want to take a
