Hi Gordon. Well I use Soundforge. I haven't tried cutting the sampling rate. I've only used the pitch shift function. That seems to work well for me. I don't use Audition, so maybe someone who uses it might be of more help. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. - Original Message
